RESUME

Jerome did a master’s degree in development and immunology at the University of Aix Marseille where he was able to carry out research internships in different teams. He has been working on flies mitochondrial dynamics in Dr. Royet’s team. He later worked on the role of exosomes derived from the muscle in the immune response within the team of Bruno Lemaitre at Lausane. Then, he deepened his knowledge of muscle by working on his development within Frank Schnorrer’s team by studying the role of a unknown gene CG31772. Today he is doing his PhD on the study of mitochondrial dynamics during exercise and muscle aging in Drosophila under the guidance of Frank Schnorrer and Nuno Luis.
